The Wolf Moon
On January 13, 2025, the Wolf Moon was full and a beautiful sight as it began to set just before dawn. While photographing this wonderful sight pre-dawn, I suddenly noticed a small plane that had just taken off from Rocky Mountain Metro Airport. As the plane climbed and slowly began to turn to the north, I realized the trajectory was going to take the pilot directly across the face of the full moon. Captured a nice burst which is showcased in the panorama below - as well as single shot with the plane near center moon. This panorama prints beautifully on metal -- 6 feet long by 12" high or 8 feet long by 16" high.
